I’m Braxton Ponder, a Licensed Acupuncturist,  National Board Certified in Oriental Medicine and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I also founded the Ponder Natural Health clinic in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This site is my way of sharing my training, experience and research with a community of people who are interested in living well, staying healthy, and enjoying life.

While I obviously have a deep interest in alternative and complimentary medicine, I also have a lot of concerns about the fad supplements, herbs, diets and programs that are saturating the Internet.

It’s become very difficult for the average person to differentiate between misleading hype, potentially dangerous substances, and truly beneficial products. It simply takes too much time and research. It’s very difficult to know who or what to trust.

The purpose of this website is to address these issues. I’ll do my best to offer you helpful guidance intended to steer you away from products that waste your time and money, and those that have the potential to harm you. Instead, I’ll be reading the news, following the medical trials, researching products and presenting you with a select few that offer clear benefits at a fair price.
